A week and a couple of days has passed
It is now just over a week since Ehenside Community School closed its doors for the final time to staff and students. I have still not got used to not going in in the morning hoping that not too much damage had been one to the It systems in my abscence.
Although I only worked at the school for 18 months, it has made a lasting impression on me as a person. It was that sort of place. I was told many times ‘Once an Ehensider always and Ehenside’ and it is very true.
Whilst I have no regrets about not getting a position at the new academy I will miss the staff and most of the students. The school had a personal feel about it, unlike Wyndham and I suspect West Lakes which will be much colder, more impersonal and less family.
I know where I would rather be educated!!
